Design for Science Competition

Helping 5th graders use the design process to plan and design entries for a science competition

This was a remote collaboration with Leah Ruediger, 5th grade teacher at PS 86 in Bronx NYC, to help her class use a structured way of approaching an upcoming science competition. Her class is part of a science program called Budding Scientists, which is part of the NYC STEM Matters initiative, for which Leah wanted her class to design a solution to an urban environmental issue.
